Dear Savannah,
We enjoyed our stay in your lovely city. We have just a few thoughts as we leave you...
- We see nothing wrong with free pralines along the River Front. It was a nice treat, even though we were really full from our delicious veggie burgers at the Green Truck. That place was delish!
- We think a drink in a to-go cup is a marvelous idea. I enjoyed the gin and tonic I sipped as I wandered your streets listening to your music. Murray’s Sweet-Water suited her just fine. But, do you think we could discuss the possibility of reusable beer-mugs or the like? Every other person in your city tonight must have been walking with a plastic cup. And, your city isn’t so into recycling. Enough said.
- Your 48-Hour parking pass may just be the best thing to happen your city since drinks to go!!! On more than once occasion we were completely grateful for that pass. It will no doubt remain the best use of $12 of the entire trip.
- We appreciate how walkable your city streets are. Names like Habersham, Ogelthorpe, & Broughton roll nicely off the tounge. However, your incessant "walk-light-guy" has an awful tone to his voice. Maybe he could have a southern drawl? Just asking.
- Your city was easy to navigate, the squares charming and the people friendly. I’d like to take your “Y'all” back to Seattle but Murray says I don’t have the accent to pull it off. Who knows? Maybe it will become a trend?
Thanks for having us,
Jenna & Kylene
